| In
the tradition of the original Oasis Series, Oasis 2 continues with the marriage of photo collage and oil paint on canvas to create images of mystery and romance. Oasis is a place of reprieve, replenishment and escape. Many of these paintings hold images of beds, vessels, flowers, fruit and timeless artifacts. The place is neither here nor there. Surreal and dreamlike, gravity is of no consequence. The viewer floats along through time and space, pausing here and there by some previously unknown delight. Carol Anna Meese
